This project was just an experiment to see how IPv6 WOL would work. There are plenty of python implementations for WOL, but I couldn't find any that built all three packets (raw ethernet, IPv4 and IPv6). However, someone asked a question on the internet about using IPv6 to trigger Wake on LAN, and I wanted to see whether I could wake my computers up with an IPv6 WOL packet. I've had the most success with udp4() and raw() I have never even seen a computer wake up with udp6(). Only sending one of these packets is not guaranteed to wake a computer up success depends on your PC's hardware.
